Position Description
Division: Brannan Sand + Gravel
Position: Logistics - Export Dispatcher
Reports To: Transportation Manager
FLSA Status: Full Time
Salary Range: $58,000 - 65,000
Location: Lipan Plant, 5880 Lipan ST Denver, CO 80216
Position Summary:
Ensure all BSG Asphalt Division trucking requirements are met each day. This includes trucking needs for Asphalt Plant Operations, Paving Operations, Patching Operations, Milling Operations, Grading / Aggregate Base, Brannan Construction, and external customer trucking requests. Will work with Logistics Import Dispatcher as a centralized dispatch unit for Aggregate Sales deliveries. Understands haul costs and tons per hour to meet or beat budget.
General Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and dispatch daily trucking requirements for paving, milling, road base and patch crews across all dispatch platforms.
  • Manage trucking logistics for the Brannan Construction division and external customer projects.
  • Over see real-time planning and adjust routing to maintain operational efficiency and jobsite productivity.
  • Evaluate hauler performance using XBE report cards and prioritize top performing carriers.
  • Monitor and maintain communication with private hauler fleet to ensure service reliability and coverage.
  • Prepare and distribute daily trucking plans, make adjustments as operational demands shift.
  • Document service issues and create incident reports when performance standards are not met.
  • Support the Logistics Operations Supervisor with onboarding and integration of new haulers.
  • Maintain flexibility to support after-hours and weekend operations as business needs require.
  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and long-range trucking schedules to ensure proper coverage of project needs and resource availability.

Position Requirements
Qualifications:
  • 2 - 5 years logistics dispatching, or 3 years asphalt logistics experience preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, clean MVR and reliable transportation.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
  • Bilingual - English/Spanish
  • Local geographic knowledge of the Denver Metro Area.
  • High level of accuracy with data entry.
  • Strong phone/email skills and strong ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to read maps and understand GPS systems.

Physical Requirements:
  • Sitting - 8 to 10 hours daily
