Adecco is hiring for a Sr. Logistics Coordinator Overview / Summary

The Senior Logistics Coordinator is an experienced, hands-on role that serves as a senior operational resource and subject matter expert for Screen Innovations’ logistics and warehouse teams, supporting manufacturing operations that produce multiple audio-visual (AV) product lines including projector screens and window shades. Working with a high degree of autonomy, the Senior Logistics Coordinator is a go-to resource on the floor for both Logistics Coordinators and Warehouse Associates — helping coordinate daily workflow, supporting execution of operational priorities, ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently, reinforcing established procedures and safety requirements, and serving as an experienced point of contact for day-to-day operational questions and issues.
The Senior Logistics Coordinator remains actively engaged in daily logistics and warehouse activities while leading through expertise, coordination, and example rather than formal authority. The position reports to the Logistics Supervisor and is a senior individual-contributor role rather than a supervisory or management position.

Role Scope & Positioning

The Senior Logistics Coordinator is positioned as a progression beyond the Logistics Coordinator role while remaining distinct from supervisory and management positions. The role leads by expertise and example and serves as a senior resource to the team without holding formal supervisory authority.
This role does not:

The Senior Logistics Coordinator may provide guidance, mentoring, training, feedback, and recommendations to support team members’ development and effectiveness.

Key ResponsibilitiesLogistics Operations
  • Coordinate daily logistics: Coordinate and support daily shipping, receiving, and fulfillment activities.

  • Ensure timely fulfillment: Ensure timely processing of customer orders and outbound shipments.

  • Support carrier coordination: Support carrier scheduling and shipment coordination.

  • Monitor workflows: Monitor logistics workflows to ensure timely completion of operational tasks.

  • Resolve issues: Assist in resolving shipment discrepancies, documentation issues, and operational challenges.

  • Maintain records: Maintain accurate logistics records and documentation.

Warehouse Operations
  • Support fulfillment activities: Support Logistics and warehouse activities including order fulfillment, boxing, labeling, palletizing, staging, and shipment preparation.

  • Load and unload: Assist with loading and unloading trailers, containers, and delivery vehicles.

  • Coordinate material movement: Coordinate material movement and storage activities.

  • Maintain work areas: Ensure warehouse work areas remain organized, safe, and operationally efficient.

  • Support all product lines: Responsibilities extend to all product lines, including both screens and window shades.

Senior & Mentoring Responsibilities
  • Mentor and support: Provide day-to-day guidance, mentoring, and support to Logistics Coordinators and Warehouse Associates through expertise and example.

  • Support onboarding and training: Assist with onboarding and training of new team members.

  • Support daily fulfillment: Help ensure orders scheduled to ship on a given day are actioned and shipped on time.

  • Reinforce procedures: Reinforce compliance with standard operating procedures and safety requirements.

  • Troubleshoot: Serve as a resource for troubleshooting operational issues.

  • Respond promptly: Provide timely, service-oriented responses to all who reach out to logistics, including internal stakeholders such as the sales department, ensuring the best possible service.

  • Escalate issues: Promptly escalate operational issues or delays that cannot be resolved to the Logistics Supervisor.

  • Promote a strong culture: Promote teamwork, accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.

Safety, Quality & Compliance
  • Support safety compliance: Support compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.

  • Reinforce safe practices: Reinforce safe material handling, loading, unloading, and warehouse practices.

  • Maintain quality standards: Assist in maintaining operational quality standards.

  • Communicate concerns: Identify and communicate safety concerns, process gaps, and improvement opportunities.

  • Support audits: Support audits, inspections, and operational compliance initiatives as required.

Process Improvement
  • Identify inefficiencies: Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.

  • Support best practices: Support implementation of operational best practices.

  • Drive continuous improvement: Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and promote operational excellence across logistics and warehouse functions.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of logistics experience, including senior- or lead-level operational experience.

  • Demonstrated experience coordinating operational activities in a warehouse or logistics environment.

  • Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, shipping software, or related logistics technologies.

  • Ability to mentor and support team members.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize competing operational demands in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting cross-functional logistics and warehouse teams.

  • Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification (the company can provide training for qualified candidates).

  • Experience participating in process improvement initiatives.

  • Prior experience working within a NetSuite ERP environment.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work on-site in a manufacturing and warehouse environment throughout the full shift, including standing and being on your feet for extended periods consistent with warehouse and manufacturing industry standards.

  • Ability to move throughout the warehouse and production floor as required by daily operational and coordination activities.

  • Ability to lift and handle materials as needed within the warehouse environment, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.

  • Ability to perform the physical demands of warehouse work, such as loading and unloading trailers, containers, and delivery vehicles, and repetitive bending, reaching, lifting, and moving goods.

Work Schedule & Location
  • Location: 100% on-site at our Austin, TX manufacturing facility (9715 Burnet Road, Suite 400, Austin, TX 78758). This role cannot be performed remotely. No exceptions.

  • Work Environment: Work takes place on-site in a warehouse environment.

  • Current Schedule: Full-time, 100% on-site, Monday through Friday, standard daytime hours.

  • Schedule Flexibility: Hours may adjust based on production and business needs but will remain within standard daytime plant operating hours, Monday through Friday. This role does not require evening, overnight, or weekend shifts.

Tools & Systems Used
  • NetSuite ERP — for order management, shipment processing, and logistics coordination (prior experience a plus; training provided).

  • RF scanners (radio-frequency handheld scanners) — for receiving, tracking, and supporting warehouse operations.

  • Warehouse management and shipping software — for tracking material movement and outbound shipments.

  • Standard documentation and reporting tools — for scheduling, order records, and management reporting.
