______________________________________________________________________ Position Overview: The Senior Manager, Logistics Operations is responsible for providing leadership and direction for four (4) critical areas within the broader Logistics team including: Data Analytics, Inbound and Outbound Routing and Scheduling, Customer Documentation, and Vendor Management. You are responsible for managing and developing leaders of people and individual contributors. You will oversee teams that provide support for compliant domestic, import and export business with on time delivery.

This is a critical role that has a direct impact on growth, margin and profitability. The Senior Manager, Logistics Operations will be responsible for partnerships with suppliers, carriers and internal teams to define action plans advancing processes, methods and tools improving the overall logistics experience, while focusing on scalability, automation, and overall cost mitigation within the DigiKey logistics and transportation network. This role is based in Thief River Falls, Minnesota, and will require a minimum of three days per week in the office and be available for projects in the office as needed.

Responsibilities: Lead and manage a seasoned / professional level team, accountable for department performance aligned to corporate strategy and KPI's Develop, implement, and continuously adapt Logistics plans, procedures, priorities, and resources to address operational complexity, and evolving business requirements Plan, organize and control all activities of the department; participate in setting and developing department goals, objectives and KPIs and evaluate results against established benchmarks to drive continuous improvement. Lead, plan and organize department staff meetings, provide business and team updates and ensuring timely completion of action items Monitor, analyze, and evaluate on department-specific performance dashboards and KPIs; recommend and implement new approaches, policies and procedures to improve efficiency and service levels Build cross-functional partnerships to ensure alignment between Logistics operations and broader business strategy, acting as a change agent to influence and gain consensus Collaborate closely with the Director of Logistics and Human Resources to assess manpower needs, employee relations for escalated performance and disciplinary action (i.e. policy violation/PIP), and hiring plans Proactively identify regulatory or trade compliance changes that may impact shipments, timelines, or risk; lead planning and response efforts to minimize disruption Logistics Operations Develop high-performing logistics operations team responsible for end-to-end shipment execution, visibility, issue resolution, carrier performance and billing accuracy, order follow up, order delay resolution, inbound and outbound shipment visibility, carrier routing, and customer documentation, and audit carrier billing Assist team with opportunities to resolve issues supporting same day ship Participate in development of annual plan including objectives, strategies, and tactical plans for the logistics department Collaborate with Sr.

Director, Logistics on the entire delivery process, managing multi-modal transportation (FTL, LTL, parcel, rail/ocean/air) Monitor key transportation metrics, drive analytics, and apply AI to enhance decision-making and operational performance Customer Documentation - manage scalability and automation of supplying of manufacturer C of Cs, certificates, and other requested documents to order packing Develop and maintain strong partnerships with other functional area leaders to determine which logistics improvements need to be made to increase productivity levels across the organization Collaborate with product team to ensure contracts are noted correctly for existing and new supplier onboarding regarding Carrier Routing, Incoterms, and liability Establish and execute a global logistics strategy that supports business objectives for product availability, customer availability, sustainability goals and scalable growth Build, manage, and influence relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and other freight partners to drive performance and negotiate rates and contracts. Ownership of total cost optimization. Encourage the implementation of environmentally conscious alternatives with our carriers within our shipping platforms Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time Ability to travel - domestically and internationally as needed|requested May lead|participate on cross-functional committees, task forces May Attend seminars, meetings and other actions to maintain knowledge of industry specifics information and identify any regulation or industry changes affecting DigiKey's business Tools / Systems/ Software Proficient in Microsoft office applications Proficient with Smartsheet application Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics/Transportation Management, International Business, or Business Management or equivalent work experience 8+ years of progressive experience working in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations, with 6+ years of leading and developing high‐performing teams Hands‐on exposure to TMS, WMS, ERP (SAP, Oracle) Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and import/export laws Certifications from American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS CTLD), or other relevant organizations (Preferred) Good working knowledge of the electrical components distribution industry Significant experience analyzing data; leveraging the information to drive decisions Experience leading teams; able engage, inspire, and motivate others to deliver business outcomes Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with a large variety of audiences (e.g.

warehouse associate, executive level internally and externally) Excellent problem-solving and critical | creative thinking skills Good time and task management skills Self-Starter. Excellent ability to work independently and handle multiple projects Physical Requirements: Generally, spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse and screen Generally, spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your body Occasional standing for presentations * Occasional standing/walking/assisting on the floor within the PDC operations Compensation: The base pay range for this position is: $110,400 to $154,000 Many factors influence the determination of base pay within a range, including the candidate's work experience in related roles; the candidate's knowledge, skills, capabilities, and performance; the relative pay of other DigiKey employees in similar roles; and the budget available for the position. ______________________________________________________________________ Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
