Position Summary

The Logistics Coordinator (LC) functions as a key member of the Account Management team and focuses on supporting the efforts of the company in all areas of logistics and freight management through operational execution, carrier support, and customer communication in alignment with our Core Values.

The Logistics Coordinator reports directly to the Team Lead,


Primary Job Duties

·        Manage order intake and load entry into TMS

·        Track and trace freight, including entry of check calls into TMS via preferred methods of

communication, provide proactive and detailed communication on issues requiring attention

·        Continuously update location and carrier master files in TMS with pertinent information

·        Communicate effectively with all internal team members including Leadership, Account Management

and Operations

·        Assist in collection of documentation for claims and OS&D issues to provide to Account

Management

·        Answer phones and distribute calls to the appropriate team member

·        Responsible for after-hours support

·        Other duties as assigned
