Responsibilities
Responsible for enrolling patients in the Cardiac Device Clinic, device clinic charting software and all manufacturer remote monitoring websites. This position oversees all cardiac device clinic schedules. Responsible for answering device clinic coordination related phone calls, answering questions about home monitors, scheduling appointments on the EPIC computer system and device manufacturer websites, and coordinating physician add-on requests. This position utilizes voicemail, multi-phone line telephone, PowerChart, Outlook, EPIC Scheduler, report processing software and manufacturer remote monitoring websites.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: One (1) year of work experience in the medical office front setting. One (1) year of experience with a multi-phone system. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Experience with Medic Billing, PCIS Gold and EPIC scheduling systems preferred.
