Job Description Summary:
We are looking for candidates with technical expertise to join our team as a 2nd Shift Logistical Coordinator/Feed Mill Technician at Athens, Alabama, Feed Mill. This Position will be responsible for Ingredient requisition, operation of processing equipment, and coordination of feed dispatch.
Job Description:
  • Reviews feeds, orders, and inputs data into spreadsheets
  • Schedules, Records, and Files reclaim feed request
  • Operates scale house and receives BOL for all ingredients
  • Coordinates/pairs loads and Dispatches drivers to farms
  • Delegate workload to drivers, while trying to evenly balance driving hours
  • Reviews feed mill bins and farm bins to ensure a fluid unloading process
  • Inputs ingredients, vendors, and customers in the Control program
  • Operate equipment, including receiving, batching, grinding, pelleting, and loadout.
  • Complete FDA reports
  • Maintaining Bio-Security Protocol at all times, along with routine sanitation
  • Obtain week-ending inventories
  • Engage in weekly Plant fumigation
  • Operates equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, sweepers
  • May perform other duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor

Job Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of business English and Arithmetic
  • Computer Experience is necessary, fluid in Microsoft Excel.
  • Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees
  • Ability to perform task with accuracy and efficiency
  • Ability to maintain records, and to generate reports which require extreme accuracy
  • Ability to multi task in high stress environment
