Job description

Position Title: Logistics Technician

Location: Coronado, CA

Clearance level REQUIRED: Secret

Responsibilities (including, but not limited): 

  • Analyzing supply chain data performance, logistics monitoring to ensure all gear issues, customer support, and support personnel have proper oversite and guidance. 

  • Logistical Manager shall also assist with providing guidance with records, training personnel in supply functions in Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), and Special Operations Forces Sustainment Asset Visibility and information Exchange (SSAVIE). 

  • Assist with entering data into multiple databases and ensure data is maintained. 

  • Assist with compiling and analyzing data to identify trends, deficiencies, and accomplishments related to the assigned programs. 

  • Possess two (2) years’ experience using DPAS, handling personal gear issues, inventory management procedures, and customer service in a military or DoD setting. 

  • Possess two (2) years’ experience using SSAVIE, handling gear issue/return and inventory management. 

  • Be able to drive Government-owned trucks, forklifts, and vans. No CDL license is required. 

  • Have and maintain an active Secret Clearance. 

  • Be able to operate Government provided Personal Computers (PC) with common/standard business software programs. Be proficient in Microsoft Office application, to include Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. 

  • Possess a valid state driver’s license.
