Role Description
Form Energy is hiring a Senior Logistics Manager to own and deploy an end-to-end logistics strategy, defining strategic procurement, carrier selection, operational execution, trade and compliance policy, and systems, while building a scalable operating model to support rapid ramp-up. Establish an organization capable of scaling efficiently while maximizing cost savings and driving continuous optimization across the network. This role reports to our Director of Supply Chain. As part of our Global Supply Chain team, you will contribute to and work on high-impact logistics initiatives and build a world-class network that supports our next phase of growth in collaboration/partnership with finance, operations, and engineering teams. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and be part of the growth of a fast-moving company with breakthrough technology and an incredible mission!
Relocation assistance is available.
What you'll do:
  • Develop and own end-to-end logistics strategy and roadmaps to minimize cost and maximize reliability for Form's project deployments, covering inbound and outbound flows across freight, warehousing, packaging, compliance, and duties.
  • Define and optimize Form's global transportation network design, including carrier mix, modal strategy, lane architecture, and flow design across suppliers, manufacturing sites, and customer project locations.
  • Build, manage, and continuously optimize a high-performing carrier and broker network to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and reliable movement of goods across all logistics flows.
  • Establish and govern carrier selection and performance management frameworks, including KPIs, scorecards, and long-term partnership strategies to ensure best-in-class service, cost, and reliability.
  • Design and execute RFQs to drive competitive sourcing and ongoing cost optimization.
  • Develop total landed cost modeling and scenario analysis to support sourcing decisions, network optimization, and logistics trade-off evaluation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across logistics operations to reduce cost, improve transit time, and mitigate risk across the end-to-end supply chain.
  • Develop automated dashboards and tracking mechanisms to enable real-time visibility into operational performance, cost trends, and key risks.
  • Evaluate, implement, and integrate transportation management systems to enable seamless data exchange between carriers and Form's internal systems, ensuring scalable and adaptable logistics infrastructure.
  • Ensure full regulatory and trade compliance, including management of packaging standards, transportation documentation (including dangerous goods), customs documentation, and HS code classification accuracy.
  • Conduct regular carrier invoice audits to ensure billing accuracy and maintain cost integrity.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to engineering and supply chain teams to inform product design decisions, improve deployment strategies, and reduce landed cost.

What you'll bring:
  • 7+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations, experience at a high-volume manufacturer a plus.
  • Broad knowledge of packaging, transport, and trade compliance regulations.
  • Experience creating RFQs and selecting carriers using detailed selection criteria.
  • Quantitative, analytical, data-driven decision maker with a high attention to detail.
  • Track record of driving projects to completion, delivering results, and bringing new solutions to life.
  • Motivated by difficult problems, excited to collaborate across organizations, and seeking individual responsibility.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize efforts, and effectively communicate progress and strategic roadmaps.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, finance, or other relevant discipline.

Where you'll work:
This role is based at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV-an easy commute from the city of Pittsburgh, PA. This 550,000-square-foot facility is our hub for high-volume battery production and a leader in the new era of American energy manufacturing. Relocation assistance is available.
