Job Description
  1. Plan logistical movements across all relevant modes (road, rail, sea, intermodal, parcel, air). 
  2. Directly collaborate with freight forwarders for all marine shipments 
  3. Directly collaborate with rail companies for rail shipments 
  4. Coordinate tendering activities leveraging the Mercury Gate and SAP (North America). All other regions will work with the local warehouses until Mercury Gate is deployed to those regions. 
  5. Responsible for coordination of activities regarding movement of goods for road, rail, sea, intermodal, parcel, air, and compartmentalized vessels 
  6. Work across process areas, mainly customer service, for tendering exception processes 
  7. Calculate freight costs for each movement, including all cost types 
  8. Pass information onto accounts payable team for match and payment.
