In the fast-paced and dynamic logistics industry, delivering exceptional service to our customers is our top priority. We are seeking a resolute professional to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring seamless freight operations/freight brokering. In this position, you will function as the primary point of contact for carriers and customers, and Sr. Operations team members addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly to maintain efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and track all active shipments to ensure on-time delivery and accurate status updates
  • Booking/Posting next day freight and any recoveries needed
  • Ensuring to keep up with Customer distro communications
  • Serve as the main point of contact for carriers, drivers, and customers during after-hours operations.
  • Proactively identify and resolve any issues or delays in transit, escalating as needed.
  • Update internal systems with accurate, real-time shipment details and status changes for our customers.
  • Communicate professionally with customers to provide timely updates and solutions.
  • Collaborate with the day operations team to ensure a seamless transition and accurate handoff of information.
  • Maintain accurate records of all communication, updates, and issue resolutions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and customer requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in transportation, logistics, or freight brokerage is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and make quick decisions in a demanding environment.
