Job description

A Day in the Life: LTL Logistics Coordinator

What's better than moving freight? Moving it smarter, faster, and more efficiently than anyone else.

As an LTL Logistics Coordinator, you're the heartbeat of shipment execution. You're confirming rates, tendering freight, tracking shipments, and solving problems before they ever become problems. You don't wait for issues to surface — you anticipate them, attack them, and keep customers confident every step of the way.

This isn't just data entry. This is relationship-building. It's strategy. It's execution. It's making sure every LTL shipment gets where it needs to go — at the right price, on the right timeline, with the right carrier.

If you're energized by fast-paced logistics, motivated by hitting metrics, and driven to create solutions instead of excuses, this role was built for you.

Details of the Job: Is This for You?

You might be a strong fit if you:

  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and can manage high shipment volume with urgency
  • Have at least 1 year of LTL transportation or logistics experience (preferred)
  • Are comfortable confirming carrier rates and disputing exceptions
  • Can confidently schedule, tender, and track shipments daily
  • Take initiative to identify operational discrepancies and solve them quickly
  • Are highly organized, detail-oriented, and strong with time management
  • Have solid computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Enjoy auditing invoices and digging into details to resolve discrepancies
  • Communicate clearly and professionally — written and verbal
  • Support Account Managers to deliver best-in-class customer service
  • Can update and maintain multiple systems accurately and consistently
  • Generate ideas for process improvements and continuous improvement
  • Embody creativity and originality when facing operational gaps
  • Are motivated by performance metrics and achievement
  • Are committed to living Trinity's Guiding Values

What You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Confirming LTL carrier rates and resolving pricing discrepancies
  • Tendering and scheduling shipments with approved carriers
  • Managing daily shipment coordination and tracking
  • Proactively solving operational issues
  • Maintaining strong customer and carrier relationships
  • Responding promptly to emails, calls, and inquiries
  • Supporting special projects and additional duties as assigned

Your Future with Trinity:

At Trinity Logistics, Inc., you're not just filling a seat — you're building a career in logistics with a team that values initiative, innovation, and collaboration.

  • A high-energy, team-oriented culture
  • Opportunity to grow within the organization
  • A company committed to continuous improvement
  • An Equal Opportunity Employer committed to inclusion

Remote Eligibility: In Office
Location: 50 Fallon Ave. Seaford, DE 19973
Work Environment:
This role operates in a professional office setting. Team Members regularly communicate verbally and in writing and may stand, walk, and lift items up to 10 pounds.
