Logistics & Warehouse Associate Independent Operator
Role Overview
We are seeking an independent, hands-on Logistics & Warehouse Associate to own day-to-day warehouse and shipping operations for employee time clock hardware. This role requires strong system and shipping knowledge, logical thinking, and the ability to work independently with full accountability.
In addition to shipping, this role includes light hardware configuration, where reader modules are connected to time clocks prior to shipment, followed by verification using a defined checklist to ensure accuracy and quality before delivery.
This is a light warehouse environment with no forklifts or heavy equipment. Typical package weight is 2030 lbs.
Key Responsibilities
Shipping, Coordination & Cost Calculation
  • Pick, pack, and ship hardware using DHL, FedEx, and UPS
  • Prepare shipping labels, packing slips, and international shipping documentation
  • Calculate and communicate shipping charges (domestic and international) to internal teams prior to shipment
  • Provide shipping confirmations, tracking details, and respond to shipping-related questions or issues
  • Coordinate resolution of delivery exceptions, delays, or shipping discrepancies
Receiving & Inventory Management
  • Receive inventory, including occasional containers and palletized shipments
  • Verify inbound items against packing lists and purchase orders
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system
  • Perform and reconcile monthly physical inventory counts
Hardware Configuration & Quality Control
  • Connect reader modules and accessories to time clocks prior to shipment
  • Complete pre-shipment configuration and QA checklists
  • Verify correct configuration, quantities, and packaging before shipping
Systems Ownership
  • Accurately process all shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions in ERP
  • Maintain organized inventory and a clean, efficient warehouse workspace
Required Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or shipping operations
  • Strong computer and system skills; comfortable working in ERP and shipping platforms
  • Experience with DHL, FedEx, UPS, and international shipping documentation
  • Ability to estimate and calculate shipping costs accurately
  • Logical, detail-oriented, and checklist-driven
  • Comfortable working independently with ownership and accountability
  • Able to lift 2030 lbs. per box
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: $42,000 $48,000
