Position Summary
As a Systems Engineer, you’ll work closely with our sales and services teams to understand customer requirements, design tailored enterprise mobility and RFID/IoT solutions, and support implementations across North America. This role combines pre-sales consulting, project delivery, and post-sales technical support to help customers optimize their operations.
Responsibilities
Enterprise Mobility amp; Industrial Print
  • Design and recommend mobile and print solutions using platforms like Android Enterprise and Zebra Technologies
  • Create technical documentation, hardware BOMs, and assist with device image creation and MDM enrollments.
  • Support sales by participating in customer meetings, demos, and pre-sales planning.
  • Provide training and technical expertise to internal teams and clients.
  • Stay current with product roadmaps, emerging technologies, and vendor certifications.
IoT amp; RFID Tracking Solutions
  • Collaborate on RFID solution design and implementation for tracking assets across complex environments.
  • Analyze customer business processes and translate them into technical system requirements.
  • Manage solution deployment from planning to testing and support.
  • Work cross-functionally with our software development and project teams to ensure solution success.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
  • 3–5 years of experience in enterprise mobility, industrial print, or IoT/RFID technologies
  • Proficiency with mobile OS platforms (Android, iOS), MDM solutions (SOTI, Workspace ONE, Intune), and print systems
  • Familiarity with Zebra or Honeywell hardware and software tools (StageNow, DataWedge, etc.)
  • Strong customer-facing skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
  • Certifications with Zebra, Honeywell, SOTI, or Android Enterprise
  • Experience in supply chain environments or GS1 labeling standards
  • Knowledge of enterprise labeling tools (BarTender, Loftware, Teklynx)
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. May be required to climb ladder and or other lift during installations. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Work Environment: Travel is a necessary component of this job. The employee will be required to travel out of town an estimated 20-40% by land and/or air. This is an estimate, and actual travel could be above or below this amount, as the position requires. Position requires proof of unrestricted, valid drivers’ license and unexpired automobile insurance as well as the ability to obtain a passport. The primary location is Brighton, MI.
