About the role
The Senior Planner, Media will work closely with the Tangible Media and Print Production teams, balancing hands-on strategic and tactical execution with client leadership. The main goal is scaling end-to-end media plans, creative strategies, and testing best practices to drive results that meet clients' performance targets. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytic, strategic, and execution skills with the ability to present their thinking to team members andclients alike. They are responsible for the overall media/test plans executed on behalf of their clients. Strong understanding of offline media as well as working knowledge of digital media will support their success. Knowledge of fundraising is a plus. This is a remote/hybrid role with Mile Marker headquartered in New York City.
What you'll do
  • Act as main point of contact between clients and Mile Marker print production team, ensuring accurate pricing is conveyed to clients and all planning milestones are maintained
  • Support the success of monthly client printed media campaigns, providing effective communication, project management, and creative problem-solving
  • Ability to see how performance, media, creative, and offer come together to achieve client success metrics
  • Lead the planning process from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with client goals and market dynamics.
  • Partner with media, analytics, and creative teams to deliver successful campaign outcomes
  • Understand client goals to organize them into well-supported strategies, ensuring alignment with client goals
  • Participate in strategic planning processes, including budget allocation and persuasive presentation creation.
  • Build tactical plans from RFP to final presentation, ensuring precision and creativity.
  • Create and present strategic proposals and client POVs, collaborating with internal teams.
  • Assume shared responsibility for campaign planning, demonstrating expertise in market and audience dynamics.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, exploring new opportunities and leading testing initiatives.
  • Nurture relationships with clients and internal partners
  • Execute tactical elements of client strategy, adhering to standard operating procedures to meet key milestones
  • Schedule, track, and monitor the execution of client campaigns, ensuring coordination among all stakeholders
  • Manage client artwork from the initial round to final approval through to production execution, where applicable
  • Prepare client billing and ensure schedule reflect payment terms
  • Prepare agendas and present at weekly client status meetings
  • Assist in preparation of quarterly client business reviews and participate in client presentations
  • Make recommendations and support continuous improvement to increase efficiencies and productivity
  • Train new team members
  • Stay current with industry trends and media innovations

Qualifications
  • 4+ years offline campaign planning, management, and analytics.
  • Hands-on experience developing offline campaign/media plans for clients that include test strategies
  • Thorough understanding of client metrics, planning schedules, and production cycles
  • Strong experience optimizing campaigns for conversion-focused KPIs, including ROAS, ROI, CPA, etc.
  • Experience with non-profit clients a plus
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work and deliver with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to operate in undefined areas ("gray areas") with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and multiple tasks
  • Ability to work autonomously yet seek counsel when necessary
  • Strong ability to juggle multiple tasks while maintaining extraordinary attention to detail

The pay range for this role is:
$72,000 - $76,000 per year (New York, NY)
