Job description

At Loftware, It’s all right there — the scale, the expertise, and the opportunity to grow your career in a business-critical industry.

Job Title: Senior Salesforce Architect

Possible locations:

  • Šencur, Slovenia (hybrid)
  • Portsmouth, NH, USA (Hybrid), Remote (U.S.-based candidates working EST hours
  • Reading, United Kingdom (hybrid or remote)

Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

The Role

As Salesforce Architect & Business Systems Strategist, you will own the architecture and roadmap for Loftware's core business systems, with Salesforce as the anchor platform. You will make build-vs-buy and platform-boundary decisions across Salesforce and adjacent systems (ERP, data warehouse, marketing and finance tools), and influence how Sales, Marketing, and Finance operations run — not just implement what they ask for. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product owners, software engineers, data scientists, and organizational leaders—to translate business requirements into scalable solutions, champion best practices, guide technical teams, and shape Loftware's long-term technology and business systems strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Own the integration architecture across Salesforce and adjacent systems (ERP, data warehouse, marketing/finance platforms), making build-vs-buy and platform-boundary decisions.

  • Serve as lead technical resource for configuration and custom-developed changes and enhancements, as well as production issues.

  • Define and enforce Salesforce governance, best practices, and coding standards across the organization.

  • Lead and mentor technical teams, analyzing trade-offs, and making decisions to deliver optimal solutions.

  • Assess the current state of Salesforce implementations and create a roadmap for future enhancements that align with Loftware’s objectives.

  • Drive process and systems strategy for Sales, Marketing, and Finance operations — shaping how the business operates, not only supporting stated requirements and timelines.

  • Communicate technical concepts and strategic visions effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, including the Executive Leadership Team.

  • Research and evaluate emerging Salesforce technologies to accelerate solution delivery and drive innovation.

  • Collaborate with the security team to ensure Salesforce solutions adhere to best practices and organizational security standards.

  • Own the data strategy across systems (not just Salesforce Data Cloud) — data model, quality, and flow across the broader business systems landscape.
  • Own Loftware's long-term technology and business-systems strategy, with Salesforce as the anchor platform rather than the sole scope.

What You Bring

  • Deep expertise in Salesforce platform development, including:
    • Salesforce architecture and data modeling (10 + years)
    • APEX Development, including Devops and CI/CD (5+ years)
    • Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud (10+ Years)
    • Revenue Cloud Advanced (1-2 years)
    • Data Cloud (3+ Years)
    • AgentForce (1-2 Years)
    • 3rd Party Application and general system integration; API development a plus (5+ Years)
    • DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce (5+ Years)
  • Demonstrated experience owning enterprise systems strategy beyond a single platform — evaluating and integrating tools across the business systems stack, not just within Salesforce.
  • Track record of shaping business operations and process design (Sales, Marketing, or Finance) — functioning as a strategic partner to the business, not only a technical implementer.
  • Applied experience, not just understanding — architecture decisions made across multiple production systems, with measurable business impact.
  • Proven ability to evaluate trade-offs, conduct build-vs-buy analyses, and make strategic technical decisions.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and present technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
  • High level of independence and the ability to make time-sensitive decisions rapidly.

  • Own It: We take initiative, follow through, and hold ourselves accountable for the quality and impact of our work.
