Responsibilities
The Lodge Manager provides direct care to adult patients with psychiatric disorders to ensure the safety and well-being of the patients. The Lodge Manager has the primary responsibility for ensuring the patient's safety in the Lodge and/or apartments. Demonstrates the ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Medium demand, mentally. Requires extensive time sitting, writing, and talking on telephone. Ability to assist in crisis intervention, physical intervention with out-of-control patients.
Qualifications
Education:
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; prefer Associate' s or Bachelor's degree in psych- related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
Prefer experience in a psychiatric hospital setting as a Mental Health Tech working with adolescents and/or adults.
License/Certification:
AHA CPR/ Handle With Care / Verbal De-escalation
Skills:
Demonstrates the ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Ability to assist in crisis intervention, physical intervention with out of control patients.
