Opportunity Specifics:

  • Contract Type: CRNA Locum Tenens
  • Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing
  • Schedule: Full-Time + Call
  • Shift Options:
  • 10 hours (7:00AM-5:00PM) 12 hours (7:00AM-7:00PM)
  • Call: 7PM-7AM during the week (30% call back) and 7AM-7AM on the weekends (80% call back). CRNAs take weekday call approximately once a month and twice a year on weekends
  • Practice: 10 MD, 36 CRNA Anesthesia Care Team Model
  • Operating Rooms: 19 ORS plus Endo, Cardiac and OB
  • Annual Volume: 15,000 OR cases annually. In addition, approximately 2000 deliveries and 300 cardiac case including TAVR, mitral valve clip and watchman procedures, on and off pump, CABG, cardiac ablation and TEE
  • Cases: General, Ortho, Urology, ENT/Ophthalmology, Bariatric, Vascular, Neuro, Thoracic, GYN, Dermatology, Plastic, Cardiac and OB. No trauma
Support: Credentialing Assistance, AAA Malpractice Coverage w/ Tail, Full Complement of Travel/Lodging Experienced providers with clean malpractice records are encouraged to apply and become part of our locum tenens roster. We have an exceptional in-house credentialing department to assist with full travel/lodging available to complement your assignment. Job Description:
  • Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
  • Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
  • Pre-anesthesia assessment
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
  • Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring patient's physiological condition
  • Performance of clinical intervention as needed
  • Experience/proficiency in: Epidurals, Spinals & Blocks
Candidate Requirements:
  • Active Massachusetts State License
  • Graduate of an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
  • Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
