THE WORK:
The Supply Chain Director will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive supply chain strategy that spans the entire lifecycle-from proposal and capture through sustainment-for the Training & Logistics Solutions (TLS) Line of Business within Rotary & Mission Systems (RMS). Reporting directly to the Vice President of Global Supply Chain, this role requires a visionary leader to drive transformation, foster innovation, and deliver measurable results.

You are a dynamic leader with extensive experience in supply chain management. You excel at strategic planning, team development, and leveraging technological advancements to optimize processes. You thrive in complex, fast-paced environments and have a proven ability to drive organizational transformation, build strong supplier relationships, and deliver results.
STANDARD JOB DESCRIPTION: Manages subordinate teams overseeing subcontractors or critical subcontracted systems for all contract types and programs. Directs and manages all costs, quality, schedule, financial and technical performance requirements that are levied on the subcontractor or the product family and is required to ensure performance and support of the contract milestones of the system. Develops sourcing and subcontract program management strategic plans that address overall program capture needs and execution. Acts as the main focal point to the subcontractor and program management office. Responsible for and directs all phases of the subcontract from initiation of the business case for make or buy decisions through requests for proposals, subcontract management plans, negotiation strategy, cost accountability and program execution. Makes decisions affecting the performance of the subcontractor. Establishes milestone objectives and manages performance to committed schedules and contractual specifications. Leads team normally composed of engineers, quality and procurement personnel.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in business management or other relevant field; or equivalent experience/combined education
• 15+ years' experience in supply chain management
• Strong and proven leadership skills
• Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop high performance work teams
• Extensive Price/Cost Analysis and Contracts/Negotiation experience with US Government,
• Proficient in understanding material acquisition policies and procedures including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DAR)
• Demonstrated financial acumen with a Strong financial management expertise / earned value management
• Working knowledge of enterprise MRP systems (e.g. SAP) and Government procurement regulations
• Excellent oral and written communication skills working across functions, programs, and senior leadership
• Extensive experience with Cost-type and Firm Fixed Price Contracts
• Ability to obtain a US Secret Clearance
• Travel ~50%

• Experience working within the Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP)

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $180000.00 - $325000.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
