A Brief Overview
Under general supervision, posts more complex payments to EPIC.
What you will do
  • Payment Posting - posts more complex payments and reconciles all manual, electronic and electronic fund transfers (EFT) lockbox payments and batches the documents; ensures all balances are properly reflected in EPIC after remittances from 3rd party payors are processed; deciphers EOBs and accurately and efficiently posts these to EPIC
  • Meets production and quality requirements
  • Provides excellent customer service
  • Completes annual mandatory educational requirements
  • Other duties as assigned
Education Qualifications
  • High School Diploma / GED Required
  • Associate's Degree Preferred
Experience Qualifications
  • At least three (3) years experience in revenue cycle Required
  • At least four (4) years experience in Healthcare Payment Processing Preferred
Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail, organized and computer skills, professionalism. Good working knowledge of third party insurance and public assistance programs.
