Your Impact

As the Brand Copywriter you will be responsible for:

The evolution of our brand voice, messaging and narrative leadership
  • Define, codify and scale the Briggs & Riley brand voice
  • Own our verbal brand book, claims hierarchy and standards
  • Act as the primary owner of brand language

Technical premium storytelling and product naming

    • Transform functional innovation into emotional narratives, elevating performance into aspiration
    • Own product, feature and campaign copy, including product naming
    • Partner with internal teams to ensure all claims are distinct and compelling

DTC performance and verbal UX

    • Own the verbal user experience across our digital footprint
    • Balance premium brand voice with measurable DTC performance
    • Partner with DTC team to test, iterate and optimize messaging

Campaign and content development

    • Partner with the Art Director to execute integrated high impact campaigns
    • Contribute to campaign concepts

Localization and international brand copy

  • Orchestrate international copy direction across all markets
  • Lead approvals and maintain brand terminology


What You Bring

  • 5+ years of copywriting experience in premium DTC or high-end lifestyle brands
  • Proven ability to balance elevated brand storytelling with performance marketing
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating DTC optimizations and campaign concepting
  • Experience coordinating and reviewing localized content across international markets
  • Experience building or evolving brand voice guidelines
  • Fluency with AI writing tools with editorial discipline to maintain brand voice and integrity
  • High editorial judgment and disciplined editing instincts
  • Brand first thinking - Strong instincts for positioning and knowing how language can help brands stand apart in a competitive landscape
  • Collaborative, ego-light, excellence-driven.

Schedule

Full Time, 9 am – 5 pm EST or 8/8:30 – 4/4:30

Hybrid Schedule – Monday & Friday remote!

Tuesday – Thursday onsite in the Hauppauge Office
