East Avenue Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing therapeutic services to our diverse client base, which includes individuals, couples, families, and groups. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while engaging actively with clients. • Conduct thorough and comprehensive client assessments to understand their mental health concerns, formulate clinical diagnoses, and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy utilizing evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), specific to the unique needs and goals of each client.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention to clients encountering acute mental health emergencies, ensuring their safety while implementing de-escalation strategies.
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential client records, including treatment plans and progress notes, adhering to ethical guidelines and local regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, which may include psychiatrists, social workers, and health professionals, to deliver holistic care that addresses all aspects of a client's well-being.
• Educate clients and their families on various mental health issues, treatment pathways, and community resources available to support them, while advocating for their needs.
• Engage in continuous professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to remain updated on best practices and emerging trends in mental health therapy.

You will work with a diverse patient population encompassing various age groups, cultural backgrounds, and mental health conditions. This includes individuals facing anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other significant mental health challenges. • Must be a licensed Mental Health Therapist with credentials such as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated strong clinical diagnostic and assessment skills.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, colleagues, and community resources.
• Ability to work autonomously while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
• A commitment to uphold the highest ethical and professional standards in practice.

• Experience in a community health setting is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Previous roles involving crisis intervention or group therapy facilitation are advantageous.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapeutic approaches.

The salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we offer a sign-on bonus to new employees.
