The Equipment Engineer Technician will support the installation, relocation, repair and maintenance for primary printing/converting equipment across the business unit. The qualified candidate would have capabilities in both mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Travel to all 29 company sites to conduct services. Travel Monday, work 8 straight days, travel home on 10th day, off Thursday - Sunday, off to the next job on Monday.
  • Remove and relocate machinery as needed.
  • Work with local plant associates to improve local skills and capabilities.
  • Interact with vendors and internal associates to order materials, parts and arrange services.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Operate a forklift as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in machine maintenance & field service required.
  • Experience working on printing & finishing machinery
  • Forklift Experience, preferred.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Must be able to be on your feet for prolonged periods of time
  • Job requires standing, stooping, bending over, and kneeling

Other considerations:

  • Air travel would be required as needed for longer distances
  • Employees would be expected to supply their own hand tools, specialty tools will be supplied
  • MCC would cover shipping cost to transport tools from job to job
  • Travel requirements- expectations would be that 10 out of 14 days will be travel, home every other Thursday-Sunday
