Job description

  1. Provide loan support to bank officers and other bank personnel, including but not limited to maintaining loan collateral, documentation and other clerical and administrative procedures associated with the lending function.
  2. Processing loan requests and input into loan documentation system (LaserPro) to generate loan documents for closing.
  3. Board new loans into the core banking system (Horizon XE).
  4. Review closed loan packages for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with bank policy and regulatory requirements.
  5. Monitor and clear exceptions related to missing documentation, or collateral deficiencies.
  6. Process loan modifications, extensions, renewal, and payment changes.
  7. Scan/Index loan documents into FCM.
  8. Daily Reconcilement.
  9. File as needed.
  10. Handle incoming calls.
  11. Cross-train in all note department responsibilities to ensure continuity of daily work-flows.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned by Loan Operations Manager. 
  1. High School Diploma or equivalent required
  2. A minimum of two (2) years banking experience, preferably some lending related
  3. Must have a high level of organizational skills
  4. Must be extremely detail oriented
  5. Must be able to multitask and follow-up
  6. Ability to prioritize daily work flows
  7. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  8. Customer service oriented
  9. Excellent communications skills, written and verbal
  10. Perform well while meeting deadlines in a fast-past environment
  11. Ability to stay focused despite interruptions
