Job Overview
Barchemy is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Load Coordinator to support daily logistics operations at our Hunker, PA facility. This role is responsible for coordinating freight movement, managing documentation, and serving as the communication hub between internal teams, carriers, and customers. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and ensures shipments are executed efficiently, accurately, and on time.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule and coordinate pickup and delivery appointments with carriers
Dispatch daily orders and ensure timely execution of shipments
Maintain accurate shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists
Track and monitor loads in transit, providing real-time updates to internal teams and customers
Act as the primary point of contact between sales, operations, and carriers to resolve delays or issues
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies
Support continuous improvement efforts to optimize shipping efficiency and reduce delays
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
1-3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or warehouse operations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook); experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) preferred
