Summary/objective
Buffalo Rock is an award-winning Pepsi and Keurig Dr Pepper bottler founded in Birmingham, AL more than 123 years ago. Buffalo Rock manages the best beverage portfolio in the country, which includes several beloved global and regional brands. The Load Manager Processor is a key member of the Warehouse team providing Operational support for the loading process by editing orders and reviewing documentation presented by the route system. The LMP is responsible for daily communication between Warehouse Operations and Retail Operations concerning order verification and processing of said orders.
Essential functions

  • Responsible for order confirmation and communication between the Warehouse Operation and Retail departments.
  • Responsible for all orders processed through the RAS system.
  • Responsible for making sure the correct order is on the corresponding delivery vehicle.
  • Responsible for daily documentation verifying orders have been processed.
  • Responsible for the order flow process relating to Warehouse Operations having the orders ready as needed to keep the building process flowing and efficient.
  • Runs necessary reports needed and maintains all daily documentation.
  • Updates programs as needed in the RAS system to ensure the picking process is in order by product matching the orders picked.
  • Communicates any product changes to Warehouse Management and helps maintain the product layout in the Warehouse.
  • Counts and Verifies orders as needed in the Warehouse Order flow process.
  • Initiates and closes the Order flow process daily, start to finish.
  • Monitor the RAS system Order Process.
  • Coordinate any issues with the Corporate IT department.
  • Must be able to operate fleet in order to load and unload trucks.
  • Responsible for wearing all assigned safety equipment and observing and enforcing safety rules.
  • Assist in general housekeeping functions within the warehouse, offices and grounds.
  • Required to complete other activities assigned by supervisor.

Other Duties and Responsibilities
  • Must exhibit a high level of ethical and moral conduct while at work or in attendance of any off-site function during work hours or after work hours while representing the Buffalo Rock Company.
  • Responsible for continuous self-improvement through the knowledge and use of all Buffalo Rock provided training, either web-based, in-house, or any other provided method. Must successfully complete assigned training curriculum, including but not limited to online and/or facilitated training.

  • All tasks within the warehouse are physically demanding and labor-intensive. Employees within this role are required have the ability to: stand, walk, stoop, reach and climb up and downstairs throughout shift as well as the ability to work in a fast paced and warm environment, especially during summer months.

Required education and experience
  • Education:
    • High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate); Required
  • Experience:
    • Warehouse Operational knowledge (i.e. coordinate the loading and unloading process, knowledge of DOT truck weights and measures) preferred, but not required.

Computer Skills:
o Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs; Required
Certifications and Licenses:
o Must be able to be forklift certified through Buffalo Rock; Required
o Valid Driver's License with a good driving record; Preferred
