Logistics Manager
Souter Limestone and Minerals, LLC
Souter Limestone and Minerals, LLC is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee scheduling, dispatch, and customer-facing operations across our Fine Grind and Legacy product lines. This role also carries direct responsibility for managing the scale house. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable balancing day-to-day dispatch work with sales support.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include the following:
Fine Grind
  • Scheduling and dispatch of fine grind loads
  • Customer service
  • Sales support
  • Assistance/scheduling with weekend fine grind ticketing
  • Additional help as needed
Legacy
  • Scheduling and dispatch of legacy loads
  • Management of the scale house
  • Sales of orders less than 5,000 tons
  • Additional help as needed
This position is also responsible for managing the scale house.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in logistics, dispatch, scheduling, or a related field preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Sales or customer account experience a plus
  • Availability to assist with weekend shipping as needed
  • Basic computer/scheduling software proficiency
