Job Description:

Owns LMS management, including:

  • Partners with LMS vendors on day-to-day operations, including system design, set-up, and ongoing process/system updates
  • Maintains and manages Interstate's LMS platform, including daily/weekly updates, evaluation, and testing
  • Uploads and updates courseware, curricula, training assignments, and rules within the LMS
  • Stays up-do-date on all industry and LMS updates and capabilities, including the integration of AI, mobile devices, and other technology
  • Troubleshoots and resolves LMS questions and issues for internal and external customers, moving quickly to find efficient solutions to edge cases
  • Builds and utilizes LMS reporting capabilities, including custom reports to support development initiatives
  • Manages the user pool, including profiles and access privileges
  • Coordinates class registrations and completions, maintaining an accurate view of scheduled sessions
  • Integrates third-party vendor materials into the LMS
  • Supports learners' use of the system, responding to issues with exceptional customer service
  • Updates and maintains the learner FAQ

Vendor Relationship:

Maintain a proactive win-win relationship with our LMS provider and other 3rd-party vendors. Initiate regular conference calls as appropriate to ensure clear communication.

LMS Processes:

Create and improve upon our IBU processes. Thoroughly document & maintain all the processes so other team members can easily fill in during an absence.

Classroom Logistics:

Manage the logistics (room reservations and setup, food, sign-in sheet, name tents, materials printing) for all live classes.

Oversees administrative tasks and processes for the Learning and Development team including:

  • Supporting L&D Partners and Manager with workshop preparation and setup
  • Managing the permissions and use of the training rooms at the Support Center
  • Ordering materials from internal and external vendors
  • Working with the mailroom to print materials and refresh supplies
  • Maintaining and keeping the training closet organized
  • Working with accounting, Interstate admins, and outside vendors for cost allocation and accurate/on-time billing
  • Communicating with the building and facilities team for needs outside the L&D team facilities
  • Helping the Manager with special projects that arise
