Job description

Licensed Therapist (LMSW/LLMSW/LLPC/LPC) โ€“ Outpatient Crisis

Location: Southgate, MI
Schedule: Full-Time | Days (Flexible; some evenings/weekends required)
Employment Type: Permanent


Compensation

  • Licensed: $29.47 โ€“ $39.88/hour
  • Limited License: $27.22 โ€“ $37.36/hour
    (Grant-based โ€“ non-negotiable)
  • Additional on-call stipend + mileage reimbursement


Schedule

  • Mondayโ€“Thursday: 8:30 AM โ€“ 7:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:30 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM โ€“ 1:00 PM
  • Flexible scheduling available


About the Role

We are seeking a Licensed Therapist (LMSW/LLMSW/LLPC/LPC) to join an Adult Behavioral Health team providing outpatient and crisis intervention services. This role blends telehealth crisis response, community-based care, and outpatient therapy, working closely with local law enforcement and community partners.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct crisis screenings, assessments, and interventions via telehealth
  • Collaborate with local police departments for emergency mental health response
  • Determine appropriate levels of care and treatment plans
  • Provide short-term stabilization and transitional support
  • Deliver in-person and virtual therapy services
  • Support individuals with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorders
  • Participate in on-call rotation (stipend provided)

  • Masterโ€™s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
  • Active Michigan License: LMSW, LLMSW, LPC, LLPC, LLP, or TLLP
  • Ability to obtain:
    • QMHP & SATS within 120 days
    • CAADC or MCBAP Development Plan within 30 days
  • Experience with:
    • Crisis intervention
    • Serious mental illness and/or substance use disorders
  • Strong communication, documentation, and tech skills
