Financial Specialist - Raleigh, Greenville, Rocky Mount, Ahoskie, Elizabeth City, Halifax, New Bern, Smithfield, Williamston, Louisburg or Burgaw

As a Financial Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting our loan officers throughout the lending process. From gathering financial documents and preparing reports to assisting with loan administration and business development, your work will help ensure a seamless experience for our customers. You will work in a culture that is mission-driven, welcomes and respects strong customer service skills, multi-tasking, confidentiality, attention to detail, time management, and organization.

What You'll Do:

  • Utilize internal and external communication for customers and third-party contacts to facilitate the loan process (i.e., gathering loan applications, financials, and scheduling loan closes, etc.)
  • Aid branch lending staff and help facilitate other branch duties
  • Responsible for digitizing documents to build electronic customer files for loan staff
  • Utilize our customer relationship management software
  • Collaborate with staff to provide timely loan servicing and complete loan service plans within compliance of the service level agreement
  • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills
  • Efficiently and accurately prepare AgVue credit requests for AgScoring, traditional underwriting, or analyst use
  • Build networks and develop industry knowledge
  • Ensure all customers have a great customer experience
  • Effectively communicate with customers and team members
  • Demonstrate a commitment to learning and growing by proactively following development plan
  • Maximize quality business growth to meet Association's profitability and other business plan objectives

Internal candidates must have at least 2 years of Farm Credit experience, a Fully Successful rating or higher on their most recent performance review and have been in their current role for at least 2 years before applying.
