What will I be doing?

  • Prepares food items including sandwiches, salads, etc. according to established departmental policies and procedures. Assures presentation of all menu items to established standards.
  • Monitors food and beverage expiration dates and food spoilage to ensure only the freshest food items are sold.
  • Stocking the market.
  • Making coffee, while providing an amazing service to our owners and guests, overall cleanliness and opening and closing duties. 
  • Weighs and measures portion control products consistently.
  • Ensures all food items are stored accurately according to health standards.
  • Prepares work area at the beginning of the shift, restocking items for sale.
  • Assures all food and other retail supplies are rotated, ordered, and received in a timely manner so that adequate inventory levels are maintained to support volume.
  • Verifies count of incoming products from vendors, ensuring accurate billing and no loss due to damaged merchandise or shortages.
  • Cleans and sanitizes deli, kitchen, equipment, and utensils.
  • Cleans retail areas, dusting shelves, and coordinating items in a neat and orderly display.
  • Cleans drains and empties trash.
  • Performs cashier functions ringing up purchased items.
  • Ensures accuracy in handling cash, credit card, and room charge transactions.
  • Maintains cash drawer and cash balancing at end of shift according to established departmental procedures.
  • Assists with monthly inventory.
  • May assist in stocking and prepping bar items and beverages when necessary.
  • May assist with training new team members.
  • Provides input on customer service issues, logging complaints and concerns of owners and guests.
  • Other duties as assigned by management

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
