Life Time Architecture & Design is a team of talented design professionals and engineers. We work together with partners across Life Time to build and remodel luxurious resort-style live, work and play destinations. Through all project development and delivery phases, for any of our Life Time offerings, our project delivery teams operate at a high level of quality and efficiency using innovative BIM processes along with industry-standard design and authoring applications. We offer a collaborative work environment and have created a diverse and inclusive team with flexible accommodations within a newly built office space next to one of our premier athletic country clubs. Position Summary
The BIM project lead is responsible for coordinating all model building efforts throughout the schematic design, design development, construction document, and construction administration project phases. This person will ensure that all models produced are adhering to LT BIM standards. The BIM project lead will also coordinate the internal and external use of the model among all teams including our design teams, architects and engineers, and our construction partners.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Creates BIM models that are used for the architectural design process
  • Coordinates all models used to create construction documents
  • Ensures the quality of all models through the various project phases is in line with LT standards
  • Leads all model review process among the various teams including internal and external partners
  • Administers the LT clash process to include coordinating all of the project partners and adjusting the internal models as needed
  • Manages clash reports, model integrity reports, and other model information needed for building cost development
  • Collaborates with internal construction teams to deliver the model to the local job sites
  • Collaborates with internal teams to administer change to prototype and project models
  • Develops innovative processes to advance the BIM business within LT
  • Develops and trains others as needed

Position Requirements
  • Associates degree with a construction management and computer aided design & 3D modeling focus
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Building design suite ultimate and premium, Navisworks manage, BIM Field and Glue 360, 3D simulation and animations
  • Understanding of cloud based BIM applications such as BIM 360
  • Understanding of typical architectural rendering process

Preferred Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction related field
  • Revit Certified Professional required, LEED, IIDA, NCARB, or state licensure
  • Understanding of MEP and structural systems.
  • Project management certification.
  • Understanding of construction administration tools such as Procore

Pay
This is a salaried position starting at $78,000.00(or applicable minimum salary, if higher) and pays up to $107,000.00, based on experience and qualifications.
