Job Title: Part-Time Coder with Interventional Radiology Coding Experience

Job Overview: Health Information Partners (HIP) is seeking a highly skilled Part-Time Coder with specialized experience in Interventional Radiology coding. This role offers premium pay and approximately 20 hours per week of work, with the flexibility to choose your schedule. Work fully remote from the comfort of your home and enjoy a balance between professional growth and flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately code Professional Fee records for Interventional Radiology procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

  • Apply expert knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems to maintain coding accuracy and efficiency.

  • Utilize Epic software to perform coding tasks effectively and efficiently.

  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure coding quality and adherence to guidelines.

  • Stay updated on coding regulations and best practices to support compliance efforts.

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years of recent Professional Fee coding experience, with a focus on Interventional Radiology.

  • Expert knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.

  • Proficiency in Epic software is required.

  • CPC, CCS, or equivalent certification is mandatory.

Additional Candidate Requirements: Applicants must:

  • Successfully pass a pre-employment coding proficiency test to demonstrate expertise.

  • Undergo and pass criminal record, OIG, and drug screening as part of the hiring process.

Job Types:

  • Part-Time with approximately 20 hours per week.
