Job description

Radiology Partners is seeking a full-time Interventional Radiologist to join their practice in Bowling Green, KY. This role offers a partnership track option and involves a mix of interventional and diagnostic responsibilities. The position provides an opportunity to work in a collaborative, physician-led group serving 13 hospitals and 17 imaging centers across Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky.

  • Practice covers 13 hospitals and 17 imaging centers across Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky.
  • Subspecialty help available with dedicated readers for MSK, Neuro, & Peds cases with complexity beyond general skillsets.
  • Located 60 miles north of Nashville and 110 miles south of Louisville.
  • TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital is a 211-bed facility serving Southern Kentucky and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

  • Perform PICC lines, paracentesis, thoracentesis, core biopsies, fine needle aspirations, thyroid biopsies, lumbar puncture, myelograms, arthrograms, abscess drainage, nephrostomy and biliary tube placement, and fluoroscopy procedures.
  • Handle 8-10 patient facing cases in a normal day.
  • Participate in Dx Call approximately 1 overnight call shift every 3 weeks (only going in for emergencies).

Shift & Schedule

  • Day/1st Shift.
  • Full-time (30+ hrs/week)/FULLTIME.
  • Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • 210 shifts total annually with 10 remote Dx weekends.
  • Dx Call - approximately 1 overnight call shift every 3 weeks (only going in for emergencies).

Requirements

  • Fellows and Residents welcome to apply.
  • Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Completion of a post-residency fellowship or integrated residency training in vascular interventional radiology.
  • Board certified/eligible by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.
  • Licensed in or have the ability to be licensed in the state of TN and KY.
  • Experience with kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty, and pain management procedures such as epidural steroid injections (a plus).
