Job description

The University of Louisville in affiliation with Norton Children's Hospital is recruiting a Radiologist in Chief and Division Chief of Pediatric Radiology to provide strategic, clinical, operational, and academic leadership across the division serving Western Kentucky and parts of Southern Indiana. This role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered pediatric imaging services, fostering a culture of clinical excellence and innovation, and overseeing the division's education and research activities within Norton Children's and the University of Louisville School of Medicine.
UofL Pediatrics Department Highlights:
•Grown from 180 to over 400 full-time pediatric faculty since 2020
•Norton Children's boasts the region's only Level I Pediatric Trauma Center (300-bed) and a fully integrated academic clinical care model focused on translating clinical research to state-of-the-art bedside care
•150+ acre state-of-the-art Pediatric Academic Center under construction (2030).
Radiologist in Chief & Division Chief, Pediatric Radiology::
•Provide leadership and direction for all clinical, operational, and academic activities of NCH's Radiology Division
•Collaborate with the Department Chair and hospital leadership on strategic planning, budgeting, and policy development
•Recruit, mentor, and develop a diverse and talented team of faculty and staff, fostering professional growth and a collaborative environment
•Provide leadership for and actively participate in the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows
•Collaborate closely with pediatric and pediatric subspecialty physicians in multidisciplinary conferences and day-to-day patient management to ensure optimal, integrated care.
