Job Details - Locum Tenens Interventional Radiologist, Richmond, KY
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,150 - $7,280

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST

Job Requirements - Interventional Radiologist
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology (Interventional Radiology experience required)
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in interventional radiology
  • Proficiency in interventional procedures: paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess drain, chest tube placement, percutaneous drain, CT/US-guided biopsies, arthrogram, lumbar puncture
  • Fluoroscopy experience (barium enema/swallow, modified barium swallow, upper GI) and ability to perform IR/fluoro procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret diagnostic exams between procedures (CT, XR, MR, US)
  • Experience with RPCE Tech Stack and PowerScribe 4.0 preferred; familiarity with PACS and hospital radiology workflows is a plus
  • Ability to obtain KY medical license or temporary locum licensure preferred
Responsibilities - Interventional Radiology Duties
  • Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures and diagnostic imaging studies in a hospital setting
  • Interpret imaging volumes: CT ( 35%), X-ray ( 40%), MR ( 5%), US ( 5%), IR/Fluoro ( 10%); mammography optional ( 5%)
  • Manage inpatient routine, stat, stroke, and other urgent cases as they arise
  • Meet productivity expectations of approximately 55 RVUs per shift
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (ER, surgery, ICU) to deliver high-quality patient care and timely imaging interpretation
