Home Helpers Home Care of Olney is looking to expand its Caregiver family. We are hiring kind, compassionate, and dedicated CNAs and GNAs that bring their passion to work. Home Helpers Home Care has been providing exceptional comprehensive home care services for over 25 years. We are currently looking to staff a part-time caregiver position in Burtonsville starting June 1, with shifts Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
We are seeking a dependable and flexible caregiver who is comfortable traveling between Burtonsville (20866) and Olney (20832), as the client rotates living arrangements between her three daughters homes every month. The client stays for one full month with one daughter, then rotates monthly to the next daughters home. Two of the daughters live in Burtonsville (20866), and one daughter lives in Olney (20832).
The ideal caregiver should have reliable transportation, be adaptable to changing work locations, and have experience providing compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities. Immediate start available for the right candidate.


Qualifications:
- Will need current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Current CNA license
- Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have good oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to understand care plans and assessments
- Must have current doctor's medical health clearance to work which includes a negative TB Test
Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
- Personal Care (bathing, dressing, and transfers)
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
- Assist with medication reminders
- Engage the client in conversation and activities
