Responsibilities:

The Student Success Team Member offers dedicated support and assistance to students, ensuring their success and fulfillment of compliance standards. This role encompasses nurturing student progress, aiding in the achievement of their goals, and maintaining adherence to required regulations. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Uphold the Nurtur Core Values and Behaviors and Aveda Success Factors
  • Assist in the coordination and management of all functions and activities surrounding the student experience
  • Ensure the student handbook, rules and regulations and mission is being adhered to, including matters related to attendance, attire, graduation progress, etc.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of student life cycle in school management database, including attendance, grades, and any other items in the database
  • Conduct regular audits of student files to ensure documentation is accurate and compliant
  • Enter and manage daily attendance to ensure all student hours are accurate and verified
  • Ensure student grades are entered and monitor GPAs for SAP compliance
  • Assist in maintenance of placement, graduation, State Board pass rates, etc. for NACCAS
  • Actively participate in career fairs; plan and coordinate career fairs as necessary
  • Serve as a contact for salons and spas inquiring about student placement
  • Perform duties as assigned and/or required to meet business needs
  • Abide by all other Nurtur policies and procedures as outlined in the Team Member Handbook and Code of Conduct

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Bachelors degree in business, finance, psychology, human resources, or other related field preferred
  • Prior professional experience in social services, human resources, or other related fields
  • Exhibit self-direction, initiative, resourcefulness, and follow-through with the ability to work at a fast pace and handle multiple tasks and projects at the same time
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrate extreme professionalism and confidentiality in manner, dress, and conduct
  • Familiarity with resumes, professional networks, and various roles within organizations
  • Ability to set and achieve goals, implement decisions, and work under strict deadlines


Travel Requirements:

The team member in this position must be able to travel locally to events and for out-of-state training as necessary.
