Rainbow Acres, a faith-based nonprofit residential community, is hiring a Prep Cook to support daily meal preparation and kitchen operations for adults with developmental disabilities. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with preparation, seasoning, and cooking of meals
  • Ensure timely meal service and proper food temperatures

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED

  • Ability to work closely with staff, residents, and volunteers
  • Ability to read, speak, and write in English
  • Possess or obtain a Food Manager's Card (employer paid)
  • Comfortable in a nonprofit / residential care setting
  • CPR / First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain - employer paid)
  • Demonstrated ethical behavior, professionalism, and respect for residents
