Job description

JOB TITLE: On-Site Property Manager (Part Time)

EMPLOYER: Los Angeles Property Management Group   

DEPARTMENT: Operations Department

REPORTS TO: Property Supervisor

EFFECTIVE DATE:  June 2026
Location: Inglewood, CA 90302
Property Size: 45 units 
Free 1-Bedroom Unit + $900 Monthly Pay
Monday–Friday, 5 hours per day, 25 hours a week 
 

Summary: The Part-Time Onsite Manager supports the daily onsite needs of the property by helping maintain cleanliness and curb appeal, supporting tenant relations, monitoring maintenance concerns, and coordinating access for maintenance technicians and vendors. This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, observant, service-oriented, and comfortable working independently.

Duties and responsibilities:

·         Hold, organize and manage keys according to company policy

·         Provide access to authorized vendors, maintenance technicians, and contractors as needed

·         Post notices and property communication as directed by management

·         Walk the property routinely to monitor overall condition and report any visible Issues

·         Perform light cleaning and upkeep to support overall property appearance

·         Identify visibly noticeable maintenance needs and report concerns to management promptly

·         Monitor and help facilitate work orders to support timely completion

·         Assist with onsite coordination when maintenance work is scheduled (as needed)

·         Serve as the primary onsite contact for residents, maintaining positive tenant relations and professional communication

·         Assist with tenant communication and escalation of concerns to the Property Manager when appropriate

·         Promote a positive and respectful community environment

·         Comply with Quality Control Performance Standards (Metrics)

·         Assist Local Police Department or Emergency services as needed (sheriff lockouts, wellness checks, police investigations due to harassment, domestic violence, fire, flood, etc.)

Qualifications:

·         Property Management: 2+ years

·         Dependable and responsive

·         Strong customer service skills with confidence handling difficult conversations professionally

·         Comfortable being onsite independently and following established procedures

·         Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

·         Comfortable working with vendors, maintenance teams, and property management staff

·         Basic computer skills required (email, reports, tracking work orders)

·         Must be able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

·         Ability to perform light physical work such as walking the property, carrying keys/supplies, and basic cleaning tasks

·         AppFolio (or Yardi) experience a plus

·         Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus

·         Fair Housing Annual Certificate is a plus

·         Knowledge on Rent Control Properties is a plus

·         Knowledge on Affordable Housing is a plus

·         Tech savvy (Experienced with PCs and smartphones)

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Free 1-Bedroom Manager’s Unit
