Job description

GLOBAL MERCHANDISE

THE ROLE

The Program Coordinator works closely with the Director of Buying and Operations Buying Team, and handles the team's clerical work, administrative and business details by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Maintain and update event reporting statistics and historical figures.
  • Responsible for Sku Creation and proper item set up in the ERP.
  • Enters and tracks all aspects of Purchase Orders, Manufacturing Orders, Distribution Orders, and vendor RTVs.
  • Track, organize and maintain merchandise samples. Mail sample merchandise to clients as requested.
  • Maintain timelines for required assets and support the buying team with portal submissions for product approvals.
  • Edit and/or assist in creating digital forms.
  • Responsible for ecomm readiness and support - including photography requests, available inventory, and accurate information needed for the ecommerce platform.
  • Perform administrative support duties, including typing of internal and external communication, but not limited to letters, reports, memoranda and e-mails.
  • Act as liaison to the customer service team that supports ecomm channel.
  • Must possess a high level of professionalism in a team structure both internally, with vendors and clients.
  • Must be creative, problem solving and a critical thinker.
  • Position requires hours at a computer entering data which requires attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
  • Position may require travel to events with exposure to the climate, dust, odors, and noise. Events require long hours.
  • Other duties may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent from four-year College or four years related retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • This position requires that the person be highly organized, self-motivated individual who can work independently.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong computer skills are a must. Use of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and comfortable use of Internet is necessary.
  • Must have excellent data entry skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to understand and follow work processes.
