Job Description

  • Handle substantive litigation matters involving commercial disputes, regulatory enforcement, and public law challenges
  • Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs, and other key case documents
  • Manage written discovery, motion practice, and day-to-day case responsibilities with increasing independence
  • Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and client strategy discussions
  • Work closely with partners on case strategy, legal analysis, and overall matter development
  • Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and other relevant parties
  • Support matters involving contract disputes, business torts, fiduciary duty claims, governance disputes, and administrative challenges
  • Help manage multiple workstreams efficiently in a fast-paced, intellectually rigorous practice

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of litigation experience in state and/or federal court
  • Experience in commercial litigation, regulatory matters, public law, or a closely related litigation practice area
  • Strong experience drafting substantive motions and managing discovery
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Strong professional judgment and ability to manage multiple matters effectively
  • Active Florida Bar admission required
  • Background from a strong law firm, litigation boutique, government practice, or judicial clerkship is preferred
