A respected AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a Construction Litigation Associate to join its West Palm Beach office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated construction and commercial litigation matters within a collaborative and growing litigation platform serving developers, contractors, owners, design professionals, and other construction industry clients.

The firm is seeking a motivated associate with strong litigation experience who is interested in handling complex disputes and taking on substantive responsibility in a client-facing role.

The Role

Associates in this position may work on matters involving:

  • Construction defect litigation
  • Delay and disruption claims
  • Contract and payment disputes
  • Design professional liability matters
  • Commercial and infrastructure project disputes
  • Surety and bond claims
  • Construction-related arbitration and mediation proceedings
  • Complex commercial litigation tied to construction projects

Attorneys will have the opportunity to work closely with clients, experts, and senior litigators on sophisticated matters throughout all stages of litigation.

Ideal Background
  • 3–8 years of construction litigation or complex commercial litigation experience
  • Experience handling litigation matters in state and/or federal court
  • Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
  • Experience with discovery, depositions, motion practice, and dispute resolution proceedings
  • Trial and arbitration preparation experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills
