A highly respected AmLaw 200 firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Miami office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated litigation matters within a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment handling complex business disputes and high-stakes litigation.
The firm is seeking a motivated associate with strong litigation experience who is interested in taking on substantive responsibility, direct client interaction, and meaningful courtroom exposure as part of a growing litigation platform.
The Role
Associates in this position may work on matters involving:
- Complex commercial litigation
- Business and contract disputes
- Shareholder and partnership litigation
- Real estate and construction disputes
- Financial services litigation
- Restrictive covenant and trade secret matters
- Class action and high-exposure litigation matters
Responsibilities may include:
- Managing written discovery and document review
- Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and court filings
- Conducting legal research and case analysis
- Taking and defending depositions
- Preparing witnesses for hearings, depositions, and trial
- Attending hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances
- Assisting with litigation strategy and trial preparation
Ideal Background
- 3–6 years of sophisticated litigation experience
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Experience handling complex litigation matters in state and/or federal court
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- Florida Bar admission preferred or ability to waive in

Compensation: $215,000–$325,000 DOE
