We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and driven Personal Injury Litigation Case Manager to join our growing litigation team. This is a high-responsibility role for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and understands the urgency, organization, and client care required in plaintiff personal injury litigation.



Position Overview

The Personal Injury Litigation Case Manager will work directly with attorneys and litigation staff to manage personal injury litigation files from pre-suit through active litigation and resolution.

This position requires extensive client communication, medical record management, litigation coordination, deadline tracking, and overall case organization. The ideal candidate understands how to manage multiple active files while maintaining professionalism, urgency, accuracy, and compassion for injured clients.

The Litigation Case Manager serves as one of the primary points of communication between the client, attorneys, medical providers, court personnel, and opposing counsel.



Key Responsibilities


Client Communication & Case Support
  • Maintain regular communication with clients throughout litigation
  • Provide updates regarding:
  • Lawsuits
  • Court dates
  • Depositions
  • Mediation
  • Discovery responses
  • Medical treatment
  • Answer client questions professionally and timely
  • Educate clients regarding litigation procedures and expectations
  • Maintain compassionate and professional communication with injured clients



Litigation Case Management
  • Manage personal injury litigation files from filing through resolution
  • Maintain organized physical and electronic files
  • Track all:
  • Court deadlines
  • Discovery deadlines
  • Hearing dates
  • Depositions
  • Mediation dates
  • Scheduling orders
  • Assist attorneys with litigation preparation
  • Prepare litigation summaries and file updates
  • Coordinate scheduling between clients, attorneys, medical providers, experts, and court personnel
  • Assist with trial preparation and exhibit organization
  • Ensure all case activity is properly documented within the case management system



Medical Records & Damages Management
  • Request, review, and organize:
  • Medical records
  • Medical bills
  • Lost wage documentation
  • Health insurance liens
  • Subrogation information
  • Property damage documentation
  • Track client medical treatment and gaps in treatment
  • Maintain updated specials and damages summaries
  • Coordinate with providers regarding outstanding balances and records requests
  • Assist with lien reduction coordination



Discovery & Litigation Support
  • Assist attorneys with:
  • Discovery coordination
  • Interrogatories
  • Requests for production
  • Medical chronologies
  • Deposition scheduling
  • Trial preparation
  • Organize exhibits and litigation documents
  • Maintain updated litigation calendars
  • Coordinate with expert witnesses and medical providers when necessary



Administrative Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and detailed case notes
  • Upload documents timely into case management software
  • Draft routine correspondence for attorney review
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and legal notices
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding all firm and client matters
  • Ensure files remain organized and audit-ready



Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university REQUIRED
