Job description

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Liquor Store Cashier / Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a liquor store and strong knowledge of liquor brands and bottle sizes. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers with product selection
  • Operate the MacBook-based POS register to process sales accurately
  • Answer store phones and assist customers with questions or orders
  • Manage and prepare Uber and online orders for pickup or delivery
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store environment
  • Restock shelves and merchandise products as needed
  • Use a small ladder when necessary to stock or retrieve products
  • Assist with receiving inventory and lifting cases up to 50 lbs
  • Follow all store policies regarding age verification and alcohol sales

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of liquor store experience required
  • Knowledge of liquor brands, bottle sizes, and popular products
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Comfortable using computers and POS systems
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb a small ladder
