Owner Operator CDL-A Driver – UACL Logistics

Up to 75% Linehaul Pay • $5,000 Sign-On Bonus

Position Summary

UACL Logistics is seeking experienced CDL-A Owner Operator Drivers across the United States. As a contractor within our network, you will have access to a robust agent base, consistent freight opportunities, and top-tier operational support. This role is ideal for business-minded drivers seeking higher earnings potential and the flexibility of running their own operation.

Compensation & Contract Structure

Van Division

  • 67% of linehaul if renting a van trailer from UACL (8% trailer rental)
  • Option to move to 75% linehaul by switching from percentage-based trailer rental to a weekly flat trailer rental rate (coordinated with Operations)

Flatbed Division

  • 75% of linehaul
  • Weekly flat rate trailer rental available if you do not have your own flatbed

Actual pay-per-mile and weekly gross earnings vary based on customers, freight lanes, and driver preference (regional, OTR, dedicated, etc.).

Sign-On Incentive

  • $5,000 sign-on bonus paid to the truck

Responsibilities & Contractor Expectations

Operational Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently operate a commercial vehicle in accordance with DOT regulations
  • Plan routes that minimize empty miles and maximize fuel efficiency
  • Maintain regular communication with UACL agents for load alerts, dispatch needs, and scheduling
  • Ensure freight is properly loaded/unloaded as needed
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and compliance requirements
  • Use UACL technology tools for load management, communication, and documentation
  • Participate in optional training programs to enhance operational efficiency

Customer Service

  • Provide exceptional service at pickup and delivery locations
  • Represent UACL with professionalism and clear communication
  • Maintain strong working relationships with customers, agents, and operations staff

Requirements

  • Valid CDL-A
  • Must own or lease a truck suitable for over-the-road operation
