Job Summary:

The Product Line Manager is responsible for optimizing the development and performance of assigned product lines to drive revenue growth, market share, and customer satisfaction. This role builds strong partnerships with suppliers and internal stakeholders while managing financial performance, pricing strategy, and product assortment. The Product Line Manager analyzes market trends, customer requirements, and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities and improve ROI. This position provides technical product leadership and enables Sales and Business Development through training, tools, and product intelligence.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize assigned product lines to improve revenue, market share, profitability, and ROI.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers as a trusted and collaborative partner.
  • Manage and communicate financial performance including budget performance, margins, ROI, and inventory levels.
  • Develop and execute product assortment and strategic pricing strategies.
  • Analyze industry trends, customer requirements, and competitive data to identify product opportunities.
  • Lead strategic and entrepreneurial product development initiatives, including investments and risk assessment.
  • Provide technical product support to internal and external customers, including RFQs, LTAs, and customer inquiries.
  • Serve as a technical liaison between suppliers, customers, Sales, and internal teams.
  • Enable Sales and Business Development through product training, campaigns, tools, and business intelligence reporting.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional projects to meet customer, supplier, and organizational objectives.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of related aerospace experience such as product or program management, supplier management, or business development.
  • Bilingual in English and Japanese preferred
  • Strong business, financial, and analytical acumen.
  • Experience managing pricing strategy, product portfolios, and financial performance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting/analytical tools.
