Job Overview

Reports to: Department Supervisor

Location: Garden Grove, CA

Type: Full-Time

Schedule: 2nd Shift

Job Summary:

To accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, each essential function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to help enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Process parts in tanks according to specifications, work order and other requirements
  • Calculates the appropriate amount of time needed to process parts
  • Removes parts from tank after specified time, rinses parts and immerse them in bath before finishing processing
  • Completes paperwork as required by company and processing guidelines
  • Oversee and assist all line assistants to optimize throughput
  • Evaluate and log all preventative maintenance on processing line
  • Ensure all hazardous waste material is disposed of correctly
  • Other duties as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The majority of work is performed in a manufacturing setting. Work is performed in shop conditions and can be in excess of 100 degrees Fahrenheit

This position requires access to knowledge and technical data regulated by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Valence Surface Technologies is required to verify that applicants meet ITAR requirements prior to employment for this role.
