Job description

Intervention Card Verifier

AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Mobile, Alabama that is an international pioneer in the aerospace industry. They are a leader in designing, manufacturing and delivering aerospace products, services and solutions to customers on a global scale. A commercial aircraft manufacturer, with Space and Defense as well as Helicopters Divisions, they are the largest aeronautics and space company in Europe and a worldwide leader. We are looking for an Intervention Card Verifier who is seeking their next opportunity in a complex and ever-changing work environment!

Essential Functions:

  • Control the aircraft intervention book and station/hangar access - verifying intervention cards are present and compliant, denying access to any one found in non-compliance.
  • Execute process confirmation walks to verify and survey:
    • Intervention slip is present and compliant.
    • PPE requirement compliance.
    • Vehicle (scissor lift) operating compliance.
    • FOD prevention requirement compliance.
    • Tools / hazardous material control compliance.
    • Alert APT leadership to 5S related hazards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 years minimum experience in Aviation Production or equivalent in the last 5 years in accordance with QSA-079.
  • Previous experience in an Aircraft Assembly line
  • 5+ years minimum experience in Aviation Production
  • Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages)
  • Training from a vocational school or previous employer in the use of application tools and in application techniques
