Job Summary

Leads and motivates the regional sales team to meet and exceed sales and other financial and operational targets while driving growth initiatives within the assigned geographical area.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Delivers on financial targets by achieving revenue, margins, and sales productivity efficiency targets within the assigned geographical area. Delivers on operational targets and key growth initiatives as defined by the Commercial Leader, ensuring timely execution and impact.
  • Coordinates with manufacturer representative to promote and maintain successful and profitable business relationships and sales with current and potential customers.
  • Grow revenue through lead generation directly and through agent teams. Analyzes sales levels and trends through market research and initiates pro-active or corrective actions as required to assure attainment of objectives.
  • Interact with a wide variety of Signify customers (channel partners, contractors, integrators, and end-users) as well as our manufacturer's representatives as described above.Assures that appropriate technical guidance and assistance regarding product applications is available to customer.
  • Promotes and markets company strategy through customer interaction at industry groups including speaking at conventions and tradeshows.
  • Serve as "Voice of the Customer" by making recommendations and supplying feedback to Product Management and Engineering teams to ensure control products/systems meet and exceed customer expectations.

Critical Experiences

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in lighting (or similar ecosystem) sales, including leading or working directly for 3rd party manufacturing sales teams.
  • Experience using data and analytics to drive sales growth in your region.

*Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.

  • Salary:$107,000 - $156,000 based on experience
  • Bonus:target bonus opportunity - 35%
