Build Relationships. Create Opportunities. Close Business.

Best Lights is seeking a driven Traveling Lighting Sales Representative to develop new business, build relationships, and grow sales throughout the United States.

This is a hands-on business development and outside sales role. We are looking for someone who is comfortable prospecting, setting appointments, traveling to customers and project sites, developing opportunities, and ultimately closing business.

If you enjoy opening doors, meeting customers face-to-face, and taking ownership of your sales pipeline, we want to hear from you.

Who We Are

Best Lights provides high-performance LED lighting solutions for commercial and athletic applications. Our products are designed around performance, reliability, energy efficiency, and long-term value.

We work with contractors, sports and recreational facilities, universities, lighting representatives, and other organizations looking for dependable, high-quality lighting solutions.

What You'll Do
  • Prospect for new business by phone, email, referrals, and industry outreach.
  • Build relationships with electrical contractors, facilities, representatives, and other potential partners.
  • Schedule your own appointments and develop productive travel plans.
  • Travel to customer meetings, project sites, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Qualify opportunities and gather the information needed for site analysis and quoting.
  • Follow up consistently with prospects and customers throughout the sales process.
  • Manage your opportunities, notes, follow-ups, and next steps in Monday.com CRM.
  • Work with Best Lights leadership for technical support and complex opportunities.
  • Take increasing ownership of opportunities from first contact through close.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven B2B sales or business development experience.
  • Strong outbound prospecting and cold-calling ability.
  • Confidence getting past gatekeepers and reaching decision-makers.
  • Ability to build relationships and ask for the appointment and the sale.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to manage your own schedule and pipeline.
  • Strong follow-through and organizational skills.
  • Comfort with frequent travel--approximately 50% of the month.
  • Experience using a CRM to manage opportunities and follow-up.
  • Coach-ability and a willingness to learn a technical product.

Experience in commercial lighting, electrical products, construction, building products, commercial equipment, or other technical B2B sales is highly desirable, but strong sales ability and the capacity to learn are equally important.

What Success Looks Like

Success means more than simply making calls. We are looking for consistent progress:

  • Meaningful prospecting and customer conversations.
  • New appointments and site visits.
  • Qualified opportunities entering the pipeline.
  • Consistent follow-up.
  • Accurate CRM management.
  • Quotes and opportunities moving toward decisions.
  • Closed business and long-term customer relationships.
Compensation & Opportunity
  • Base salary of $60,000-$70,000 depending on experience
  • Commission opportunity with realistic total earnings of $95,000+ OTE
  • Full-time position
  • Company-provided resources for business activity
  • Direct access to experienced sales and technical leadership
  • Sales coaching and clear performance expectations
  • Opportunity to develop new markets and directly influence company growth

If you are a proactive salesperson who likes getting in front of customers, creating opportunities, and owning the outcome, apply today to join Best Lights.
